My family

My family

My family consist of four people. There are my father, whose name is Bronislav, my mother, whose name is Dana, my brother Milan and, of course, me.
My father is fourty-one years old. He works as a headmaster of a shop with furniture. He is tall and a little thick, has got short grey hair and green eyes. My father likes fishing very much.
My mother is thirty-six years old and she works as a dressmaker in a small company. She is small and slim, she has short brown hair and green eyes. She likes sewing very much. Her special hobby is cycling.

My brother is sixteen. He is a student, like me. He is studying mechanic, electronic at Olomoucka school. He is tall and slim. He has short brown hair and green eyes. He is interested in computers and sports like football. But he doesn’t like swimming. He spends a lot of time with his friends.
I still have two grandmothers and two grandparents. But I have only one great-grandmother. My great-grandmother is seventy-eight years old. My great-grandfather died when I was 2 years old.

My mum’s parents live in a family house in a small village near Brno called Otnice.
My dad’s parents live in Otnice too. They live in a family house too, but they live with my father’s brother Ivo, his wife Hana and their two daughters, my cousins, Ivana and Romana. They are younger than me.

My mum’s brother, Jirka, lives in Brno. He has one daughter Eva with his first wife. Eva is fourteen years old. She is my cousin and my good friend too.

My family are very large because my grandma has four siblings and my granpa three. The second parents have many siblings too.

I enjoy spending time with my mum’s parents. I go there twice a month and most holidays.
My parents and I lived in Otnice for 2 years, but they were unhappy there, so we moved into a flat in Brno. There was born my brother Milan.
