Medical care in our country is free of charge but patient partly shares some treatment and medicine. According to law, all citizens are covered by health insurance. Most people belong to the General Health Insurance Company.Employers pay health insurance for their employees but privat persons must pay for their insurance themselves.State pays insurance for children and retired people.
In Britain, the National Health Service provides free health care to all people in the country.Everybody can choose their general practitioner in his own home area.GPs often join together in partnertship, because the medical technology is expensive.Specialists are in local hospitals. You can call an ambulance by dialing 999 from any telephone. In England, companies also pay insurance for their employees and the government for other people.
In the USA, most people have privat health insurance(you pay the doctor and then send the bill to your insurance company). But privat health insurance is expensive. The government pay the doctor for poor people. It is big problem now in the USA, because hospital must take ill people, even if they don´t have money, and this is difficult for many hospitals.
